To Engage
"The Singing Arrow Community Center project is located at the northeast end of the 5-acre Singing Arrow Park in southeast Albuquerque. To the south and west, the park is bounded by the 6-acre Rancho de Carnue archaeological site, that overlooks the Tijeras Canyon.
From its inception, this project aspired to engage the neighborhood and activate Singing Arrow Park, while respecting and celebrating the adjacent archaeological site. The new Singing Arrow Community Center provides a wide array of amenities previously unavailable in this area. The computer lab improves access to technology, with computers and internet available for children and adults. Other programmatic spaces include, the fitness room, game room, craft room, classroom, and large multipurpose room with an adjoining warming kitchen. Archaeological exhibit spaces serve to connect the community and the public with the rich history of the broader Tijeras Canyon corridor, and with the specific Rancho de Carnue archaeological site. "
